Biography
Derrick Jackson, Esq., is a Miami, Florida native whose practice focuses on construction and business litigation. He represents clients in complex legal matters and takes a strategic, results-oriented approach to each case. Mr. Jackson earned his Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University College of Law in 2024 and his Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Real Property Development from the University of Miami School of Law in 2025. He earned his Bachelor of Science from Thomas Edison State University in 2020.
While in law school, Mr. Jackson earned certificates in Real Estate Law and Business Law and received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Legal Methods in 2022. Prior to practicing law, Mr. Jackson served nearly seven years in the United States Navy as a Fleet Marine Force Corpsman with the 2nd Marine Division, completing multiple deployments, including tours in Iraq, Kuwait, and Guantanamo Bay.
